Electric Cities of Georgia broke ground on a planned utility training institute in Forsyth on August 27, 2025, marking an investment milestone for Indian Springs Business Park.

In its announcement the following day, ECG described a 12,000-square-foot facility intended to consolidate training operations in Newnan and Adel. Planned instruction includes lineworker apprenticeships, advanced certifications and leadership development.

The project’s stated purpose places workforce preparation at the center of the investment. It also illustrates the role a business park can play in supporting technical education and the organizations that provide essential services.
