Monroe County is in the middle of everywhere in Georgia.  Twenty-eight miles of Interstate I-75 runs through Monroe County with 8 exits/entrances for easy access. I-475 begins in Monroe County and I-675 is just north of Monroe Co. and about 40 miles to interstate 285.   Within 15 miles you can access Interstate 16 and be at the Georgia Ports in less than  2 ½ hours.  Monroe County is 50 miles from the Atlanta International Airport and 25 miles to the Middle Georgia Regional Airport.
