A groundbreaking ceremony for Monroe County Hospital Medical Office Building is scheduled for Tuesday, February 22 at 2 p.m.
The building will be 10,000 square feet and will be located at the south end of the hospital’s campus.
The new building will house medical offices for physicians and other healthcare professionals, a Monroe County Hospital news release says.
Hospital CEO Kay Floyd says that the construction of the new office building will take about 10 months to complete.
